A pilot program at a jail in Washington, D.C., funded by an Amazon grant, gave inmates access to a course in basic cloud computing skills.The goal was for the inmates to become certified Amazon Web Services cloud practitioners, which could pave the way for them to obtain careers in IT, business analysis, marketing, and project management.
