A New Path in Tuscany Offers Rest, Beauty and an Escape from the Crowds
Briefly

This summer, a new path leads visitors from the town's main piazza to the countryside, featuring 28 travertine marble benches crafted by renowned artists. Each bench serves as both a place to rest and a piece of art, showcasing unique designs like a throne, a face image, and a beach stone-like texture.
The benches, a gift from Fondazione FUR by Swiss art collector Urs Rechsteiner, were inspired by his love for a bench by artist Riccardo Grazzi. The vision was to have a series of international artists' benches in the landscape, providing spaces for contemplation and meditation.
