The AWS Well-Architected Migration Lens is an extension of the Well-Architected Framework that provides customers with best practices and guidance for their migration programs across the three phases: Assess, Mobilize, and Migrate.
The Migration Lens consists of well-architected migration design principles, migration phases, and well-architected pillars. The design principles provide general guidelines, while the migration phases help organizations evaluate their current environment, formulate migration strategies, and perform the actual migration of applications, data, and workloads. Each phase includes specific best practices that apply across the Well-Architected Framework pillars.
