Most fundamentally, we've migrated NRDB to the public cloud and to a cellular architecture. Instead of one massive shared query compute cluster, we now run isolated clusters with workload redistribution capability.
We observed two things: improved service level objectives by two orders of magnitude and decoupling of existing inspected count limiting from system health measures, offering a better user experience.
