The article discusses the author's experience with internet outages while using Teksavvy Internet, where they faced challenges, particularly concerning email services. They highlight the resilience of email against short failures but note that prolonged outages lead to mail delivery issues. The author reflects on their previous experience in February 2023 and how they have taken steps to improve their mail server configuration using Puppet, despite the Puppet server being down during the outage. They have upgraded their setup, although some features remain incomplete.
