Microsoft Azure networking snafu enters day 2
Briefly

Microsoft has experienced ongoing intermittent errors in Azure services due to a network configuration issue in the US East 2 region, impacting multiple services and customers.
The outage began on January 8, affecting customer connectivity to Azure services like Azure Databricks and SQL Managed Instances, with issues traced back to a network configuration in one of the zones.
Despite rerouting traffic to alleviate some issues, Microsoft explained that many services continued to face problems, urging customers to initiate disaster recovery measures during this period.
As of January 10, Microsoft announced that all three impacted partitions were brought back online, signalling significant recovery, yet some users may still experience degraded performance.
