I had a network of design friends who I was doing that with so I brought them over to join the company. Because I was working with them, it was natural that we started working on the product design together.
Being part of that planning process has helped me prioritize better. It's helped me influence the product roadmap and set strategic goals and execution plans.
We're using this organization at Zeta with these very self-contained pods that all have their own goals, personnel, KPIs [...] I can structure the team that I have, and the strategy that I have, and the vision that I have on top of that, to optimize for speed.
