Amazon Web Services (AWS) has enhanced its CloudFormation service with a new deployment timeline view, improving visibility into the infrastructure deployment process and dependencies.
The new timeline view allows real-time visualisation of resource provisioning, updating every five seconds and demonstrating the precise sequence and dependencies of deployments.
Colour-coded status indicators provide immediate context for each resource's deployment state, with blue for in-progress, yellow for checks, green for successful completion, and red for failures.
An enhanced ability to identify failures, with clear visual indicators and detailed resource information available by hovering over deployment bars, facilitates rapid troubleshooting.
