Architecting for High Availability in the Cloud with Cellular Architecture
Briefly

One of the points I want to convey in this talk is that to achieve a really maintainable and scalable cellular architecture, automation is a really important piece of the puzzle. The advancements in our infrastructure as code space in the last few years have really done a lot to make this a simpler problem to solve.
My last few jobs, I worked at Puppet for about five years... I'm going to end up tying these two things together a little bit more later in the talk. One of the things that was really awesome about that job was getting to learn from all of the other teams inside of AWS... like how they managed cellular architecture.
