"On the edge of a golf course in Marrakech, on a 1,400 m2 plot, stands a villa conceived as a silent presence, at once grounded and weightless, sensual and spiritual."
"The project is rooted in the ochre landscape of the city, drawing from its materiality and light a raw, unpretentious nobility."
The villa occupies a 1,400 m2 plot at the edge of a golf course in Marrakech. The design presents a silent presence that reads as both grounded and weightless. Spatial qualities emphasize sensual and spiritual experiences. Material choices and color reference the ochre landscape of the city. Surfaces and light are used to reveal local materiality and to cultivate a raw, unpretentious nobility. Form and composition balance mass and ethereality to integrate with the surrounding terrain and to produce contemplative, tactile interiors and exteriors.
