The project houses two families—parents and children—on a relatively spacious plot within a densely populated residential neighborhood close to the station. The layout accommodates dual households while responding to urban context and site conditions. The building employs low, overhanging eaves to compress perceived height and to moderate the massing against neighboring structures. Internally the scheme provides two stories of program while externally it reads as a low, single-story form. Two large roof volumes lean together to define the overall silhouette and to mediate scale, privacy, and daylight for both households.
