What makes this arrangement useful is that it is easier to get into bed...However, it does make the home more claustrophobic...
The living room is placed right above the bedroom, and you can reach it via a storage-integrated staircase. It contains a sofa, coffee table, TV, and a large window offering great views. The kitchen, including custom cabinetry, sink, cooktop, fridge, and space for a washer/dryer, is situated beside the bedroom.
