The exhibition will draw on artistic traditions and crafts, such as Orsini Venezia, a furnace in Venice that has produced gold-leaf mosaics since 1888.
Müller adds that Dolce & Gabbana are "constantly inspired by many aspects of Italian art and craft, which are examined in the show for the first time."
"Unfolding over a series of ten rooms covering 1,200 sq. m, the show explores the brand's unconventional approach to the world of luxury... embracing humour, irreverence and subversion," according to an exhibition statement.
She has created these works by following Dolce & Gabbana's Alta Moda and Alta Sartoria collections in recent years... reflecting the rich Italian heritage of the two designers.
