Sprout-like scanner and projector concept help kids reconnect with nature anywhere - Yanko Design
Briefly

In today's tech-centric world, children are increasingly disconnected from nature due to their early exposure to devices. While technology can broaden their horizons, it also risks alienating them from the natural world. A new design concept, Nolly, seeks to bridge this gap by creating a device that merges technology with outdoor exploration. This device features a projector and a scanner, allowing kids to capture images of plants and animals during their explorations, which can then be revisited at home in an interactive format, enhancing their learning and curiosity about nature.
Nature can sometimes be alien to children, especially when they can’t take experiences with them like smartphones, leading to a disconnect from the natural world.
Nolly is a concept device combining technology with nature exploration, using interactive learning to engage children and inspire curiosity about the environment.
The design of Nolly uses familiar tech aesthetics to pique children's interest and promote a harmonious relationship between their digital and natural worlds.
By incorporating a projector and scanner, Nolly allows children to capture and revisit their outdoor experiences, blending education with interactive play.
