Solar Locus serves as the corporate headquarters for a solar energy company in Taiwan. The design centers on light as the primary organizing principle and seeks to restore a connection between built environment and the natural world. Architecture functions as a medium for reconnecting humanity with nature by emphasizing the movement and interplay of light and shadow. Spatial strategies encourage occupants to reawaken to the presence of light and nature through perceptual experience. The building intentionally captures traces of light and shadow, shaping interior atmospheres and defining circulation. The resulting form is conceived as a Container of Light that privileges sensory engagement over purely utilitarian concerns.
