Phan Rang House (H.a) is a 104 m² residential project by Quangdam + 23 Architects, led by Vuong Trung Huu, completed in 2023 in Phan Rang–Tháp Chàm. The site experiences up to nine months of arid sunlight and prolonged drought, producing a sunburnt landscape of endless rocks and stone. The local rocky surfaces retain ecological resilience and vitality despite appearing desolate. The project acknowledges the region’s harsh, desertlike climate and rocky terrain, situating a compact architectural intervention sized for the constrained, sun-exposed conditions of the so-called "Desert of Vietnam." Photographic documentation credited to Quangdam.
