When Zobel arrived in Spain, he realized Spanish abstract artists had nowhere to exhibit their works, prompting him to collect and display their art in the Museum of Spanish Abstract Art.
The museum, located in Cuenca's unique Hanging Houses, provided a space to honor globally renowned Spanish abstract artists like Chillida, Oteiza, Millares, and Tapies.
