"Every user's home office is different, but they all have one thing in common, Desire to create a better space. Spend more good time and work there. But somehow we have no space at home, we work at the kitchen table, sofa, or bedroom because of lack of space. My aim was to build and improve a product which can be used by a large number of users in the home office space."
"In this section, I will share with you the final product that I have created: an ergonomically crafted, minimalist, and adjustable desk full of hidden storage. I attempted to follow the design thinking process or framework, which talked of five important phases: interviewing the users, defining problems at hand, ideating solutions for these problems, then creating scribbles for one idea, and getting feedback for the solutions, changes, and making the great product I proposed."
Users often desire better home office environments but commonly lack dedicated space, forcing work at kitchen tables, sofas, or bedrooms. Many struggle to keep home workspaces clean, adjustable, and spacious. The project focused on creating a minimalist, ergonomically crafted, adjustable desk with hidden storage to address these issues. The design process included interviewing users, defining problems, ideating solutions, sketching concepts, and collecting feedback to refine the product. The resulting prototype emphasizes adjustability, mobility, ergonomic comfort, and integrated storage to improve efficiency and flexibility for a wide range of home office users.
