Wave is an all-day dining destination in Dubai's Mirdif neighborhood designed by IDST as a warm, textural landscape that transitions from sun-drenched daytime softness to sculptural evening drama. The concept fuses Mediterranean ease with Memphis geometry, using deliberate contrasts—soft versus bold, curved versus linear, earthy versus graphic—to establish a distinct identity. Repeating patterns, striped upholstery, checkerboard textiles, and sculptural lamps generate visual rhythm while materials like polished marble, raw ceramics, and natural wood create layered tactile warmth. Completed in 2025, the project encompassed full design, supervision, sourcing, and styling to craft a refined, multisensory hospitality environment.
