iconic chairs by robert wilson, gaetano pesce, frank gehry & more land at GRASSI museum
Briefly

The GRASSI Museum of Applied Arts is showcasing one of the world's most important private collections of seating products by over 100 artists, designers, and architects from the 1960s to the present day, with an exceptional scenography.
The presentation of around 140 pieces is entrusted to American artist, director, and designer Robert Wilson, who breathes life into the chairs through sound, light, and set design, treating them as protagonists of performing arts.
The show offers an 'opera' in four acts and stages, using unique scenography to tell the history of art and design, presenting chairs in immersive worlds and treating them as if they were the protagonists of a performance.
