THE WORLD MADE WONDROUS exhibit at LACMA's Resnick Pavilion recreated a seventeenth-century wunderkammer with mahogany panels, theatrical lighting, and a variety of unique objects from different institutions.
The exhibit featured a wide-ranging collection including medieval stained-glass panels, Renaissance etchings, a Bohemian bejeweled crown, Ming-dynasty cups, Greek amphorae, Rembrandt portraits, and a taxidermic alligator, offering a rich and awe-inspiring experience.
