The Khudi Bari is a low-cost raised tiny home designed to serve as an economical and safe solution to the flooding problem in Bangladesh. It is built from bamboo, prefabricated recycled aluminum nodes, metal, and polycarbonate, occupying around 64 sq ft to 144 sq ft.
Designed by Marina Tabassum, the home can be easily assembled and disassembled by hand, moved to a new location without specialized tools, and has been delivered in 100 units across Bangladesh to improve living conditions in flood-prone areas.
