Drawing for Palestine is an exhibition of original drawings at the Bologna Children's Book Fair, aiming to raise awareness and funds for the Palestinian cause. The exhibition includes works by 56 illustrators and is organized by Sarah Mazzetti and Andrea Antinori.
To curate the exhibition, Sarah and Andrea reached out to experienced children's book authors and illustrators who have been regular attendees at BCBF. Contributors were given the option to donate an original drawing, now available for purchase at the fair.
The prices of the original drawings are standardized based on format, with the main goal being fundraising for the Palestinian cause. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the UNRWA, which supports millions of Palestinian refugees with essential services like water, food, education, and healthcare.
