The plan follows the land's gentle slope with subtle terracing to allow smooth circulation and aging-in-place, using wide doorways, flush thresholds, and sandblasted concrete floors. Interior and exterior continuity is reinforced by cast-in-place concrete floors with hydronic radiant heating that extend onto patios and paths. Warmth and craft are introduced through locally sourced fir and cedar, owner-fabricated wood screens, and hand-blown glass, while focused color accents animate the muted material palette.
