Designed by community: Multnomah County libraries - including Central, Midland, and the new East County branch - reflect a new way of thinking about library architecture

Wander the august rooms of the newly refurbished Multnomah County Central Library and it's easy to think you've landed at some sort of bibliophilic airport lounge.

With this new architecture and these new spaces, we hope to really engage the patron in a much more collaborative way.
