Artist Spotlight: Andrew Tseng
Briefly

"My artwork often portrays absurd and theatrical scenes featuring characters with distorted muscular bodies. These characters push the boundaries of masculinity and the human form. The distorted perspectives and melodramatic approach highlight the strangeness of seemingly mundane activities. The characters always wear an eerie, almost flirtatious smile, as if inviting the viewer into their world."
"Dogs often accompany them, symbolizing man or an idealized version of humanity. These dogs embody strength, loyalty, and self-assuredness, but can also experience profound existential despair when confronted with the meaninglessness of life."
