Tim Burton is the mastermind behind such films as The Corpse Bride, Edward Scissorhands, and the London-centric Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street; and The World of Tim Burton - which arrives at the Design Museum in Kensington at the end of October 2024 - will immerse visitors in the filmmaker's creative psyche, by way of his personal archives.
There'll be sketchbooks, sculptural installations, storyboards, paintings and photos, in an exhibit that captures a singular imagination, that's been fizzing with ideas from Burton's childhood right through to present day.
