Her small sculptures extend her imagination into the world, and some of those portrayed are based on real people, including Tituba, an enslaved Native American woman believed to be a member of the Arawak-Guiana tribe hailing from Barbados - she was among the first to be accused of witchcraft in Salem in the 17th century.
