Sweden's biggest data center planned for 2027
Briefly

EcoDataCenter's planned mega campus in Borlänge, Sweden, is set to be the largest data center in the country, with a capacity of up to 360MW.
Peter Michelson, CEO of EcoDataCenter, stated that the location is ideal due to existing partnerships, enabling clients to create substantial compute clusters across both sites.
Borlänge Energi’s CEO, Mats-Erik Olofsson, emphasized that the data center would enhance Borlänge's economic position, offering new opportunities for the community.
EcoDataCenter estimates that around 200 long-term jobs will be created as the facility develops, with 400 workers involved during the construction phase.
