Fauci admitted major parts of his pandemic guidance weren't backed by science, such as masking children and the six-foot distancing rule, saying he didn't recall studies supporting them.
When questioned about the origins of the six-foot distancing rule, Fauci said, 'It sort of just appeared,' and when asked about studies supporting it replied, 'That would be a very difficult study to do.'
Fauci couldn't definitively recall any data supporting masks for children as young as 2 and admitted there was no cost-benefit analysis done on the unintended consequences of masking kids.
