Schottenheimer, full staff in Indy: Work is 'nonstop'
Briefly

Brian Schottenheimer, the new head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, has rapidly assembled a diverse and energized coaching staff that emphasizes fundamentals. In his 34 days in the role, he has hired experienced coaches, including Matt Eberflus as defensive coordinator and younger coordinators from college football. Despite the media attention at the NFL scouting combine, Schottenheimer feels the pressure of the job but remains optimistic. He believes the passion and energy of his staff will positively impact their players when they begin training in the coming months.
I think we found great teachers. We found guys that were incredible people. I have a real big belief in the fundamentals, and so I think if you look at all the coaches that we've added, both young, old, the ability to train fundamentals and the developmental process of our players is critical.
I haven't gotten out much, to be honest with you. It's been nonstop. There's a lot of work to be done. Other than a few autograph seekers, it's been pretty normal.
