Wednesday's minor moves include several roster transactions across the league. The Los Angeles Rams had S Chris Smith claimed off waivers by another club. K Harrison Mevis was signed to the active roster by the Miami Dolphins. WR Kevin Austin was signed to the New Orleans Saints' active roster. The New York Giants designated RB Eric Gray for return from the reserve/PUP list; Gray had been on the physically unable to perform list since the initial 53-man roster was set. Cam Skattebo was placed on injured reserve earlier in the season, and Gray's return could provide additional depth at running back.
