The Patriots have struggled with quality quarterback play. Starting quarterback Mac Jones has been benched at times throughout the season.
Elliott has 497 rushing yards with two touchdowns while adding 226 receiving yards with one touchdown reception. For comparison, Cowboys running back Tony Pollard has 796 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns with 285 receiving yards.
Elliot and New England has a tough stretch to end the season with their next three games coming against the Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos and the Buffalo Bills before ending the season against the New York Jets.
