The semifinalists were whittled down from a pool of 173 players, this is Woodson's eighth time as a semifinalist with his first coming in 2015.
Woodson has support from members of the NFL Hall of Fame such as Terrell Owens who said he should be inducted and Kenny Easley who stated the same.
