Police responded around 1 a.m. to the Live! by Loews after reports of a fight. When they arrived, the fight had already been broken up.
During the arrest, Jones is reported to have struck the arresting officer on the arm and tried to walk away before being handcuffed.
A representative for Jones stated he was in Dallas like many others to enjoy the fight, asserting he looks forward to clearing his name.
Jones was charged with public intoxication, assaulting a peace officer, and resisting arrest following the altercation at the hotel.
