Marvel and DC have announced a long-awaited crossover comic series after 22 years, pairing Gotham's Batman with Marvel's Deadpool. This unexpected match promises chaos, with two one-shot comics revealed so far. The first, featuring Deadpool taking a job in Gotham, will be written by Zeb Wells and illustrated by Greg Capullo. The second comic, shrouded in mystery, will be penned by Grant Morrison and illustrated by Dan Mora. Fans have expressed excitement, particularly regarding the Morrison/Mora team, eagerly anticipating the adventures and art within these comics.
From the comic covers alone, I'm pretty hyped to see what comes out of this long overdue collab.
Morrison/Mora was LITERALLY my dream team for a DC/Marvel crossover.
So far, two one-shot comics have been announced, but details have been fairly sparse.
I'm praying for the Joker to get completely disarmed by Deadpool's unhinged sarcasm.
