Review | 'Jules': 'E.T.' for the AARP demographic
Briefly

The film "Jules" is a gently amusing and ultimately poignant dramedy about a frugal retiree named Milton, played by Ben Kingsley, who regularly complains at meetings of the town council in downtown Boonton.
Milton's bland routine is disrupted when an alien spaceship crash-lands in his backyard, and he helps nurse a little gray alien back to health, eventually hiding it from his friends Sandy and Joyce.
"Jules" has a modest and tender appeal, similar to Marc Turtletaub's previous film "Puzzle," and delivers wry smiles and expected moments of sweetness throughout the story.
