DC and Marvel are set to release a two-part comic crossover featuring Deadpool and Batman, marking their first collaboration since 2003. The first issue, "Deadpool/Batman," is written by Zeb Wells and scheduled for September 17. The second issue, "Batman/Deadpool," written by Grant Morrison, is slated for November. Both issues will include additional crossover stories which remain undisclosed. Furthermore, both companies are planning another crossover one-shot for 2026, emphasizing the special and infrequent nature of such collaborations.

It happens kind of once every generation of readers. I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions as to why.
