"Pretty stunning," said Eric Balchunas, senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, about crypto's high ranking in investment plans in the survey.
The survey, which asked 2,200 individual investors aged 25 to 75 with at least $25,000 to invest, indicates increasing interest in crypto-focused ETFs as a diversification tool.
Among millennial ETF investors, crypto was the leading asset class, with 62% planning to allocate to that sector, surpassing allocations for U.S. stocks and bonds.
While spot bitcoin ETFs have attracted nearly $19 billion in net inflows since their debut in January, spot ether ETFs have seen over $500 million in net outflows.
