Rare human case of bird flu contracted in Texas following contact with dairy cattle

Human cases of bird flu can produce a range of symptoms, from mild like eye infection to severe like pneumonia and death, Texas officials said.

Although the virus has spread to dairy cattle across states like Texas, Kansas, and Michigan, it remains rare for bird flu to spread from person-to-person.
