Jay Varma, the former senior public health adviser for NYC, admitted to violating his own COVID-19 guidelines by attending parties during the pandemic.
In a heavily-edited video, Varma disclosed attending a large underground dance party and hosting a sex party, claiming he had to be sneaky about it.
"I had to be kind of sneaky about it," Varma admitted, highlighting the contradiction between his role managing the COVID response and his personal actions.
Varma stated, "This was not COVID friendly," reflecting on his attendance at events that contradicted the very public health protocols he advocated.
