KP.3 variant has become the dominant strain, surpassing KP.2. Data suggests KP.3 mutations could be more adept at evading immunity.
KP.3 is very similar to JN.1 and KP.2 but with minor differences. FDA to update fall vaccines for JN.1 variant.
