Most teenagers recover from long Covid after two years, study shows
Briefly

Most teenagers who experienced long Covid tend to recover within two years; however, a significant minority continue to face health challenges long after.
The study found that out of 12,632 participants, only 233 were identified as having long Covid three months post-infection, showcasing a substantial rate of recovery.
Experts noted that while 70% of teenagers with long Covid symptoms improved within two years, 30% remain affected, still reporting multiple symptoms even after this period.
Long Covid in adolescents is defined by a persistence of symptoms such as fatigue, sleep troubles, and respiratory issues; understanding the causes of these lingering cases is vital.
