New York State Health Commissioner Dr. James McDonald declared Wednesday that the flu is now prevalent in the state. This declaration requires that health-care workers who have not received this year's flu vaccine wear a mask in certain settings. And with the holidays approaching, the Health Department is urging the public to get their flu shot.
