A Second Dairy Worker Has Contracted Bird Flu, C.D.C. Reports
Briefly

A farmworker in Michigan has been diagnosed with bird flu, making it the second human case associated with the outbreak in cows. The individual became infected with the H5N1 virus after exposure to infected livestock, and had only mild symptoms, fully recovering.
The detection of the latest case did not suggest widespread bird flu in people. Officials mentioned that the risk to the general public remains low and there is no evidence of sustained human-to-human transmission.
