The Witchy Bar Bringing Magic to Bourbon Street
Briefly

Cristina Quackenbush, a New Orleans chef known for her pop-up Milkfish, has opened a new bar called Tatlo, located off Bourbon Street. This bar merges her spiritual practices with Filipino cuisine, offering dishes and cocktails that reflect positive affirmations and spellwork. The atmosphere at Tatlo is designed to be serene, featuring elements like Spanish moss and palo santo smoke. Quackenbush's vision aims to capture New Orleans' mystical essence, allowing guests to choose their food based on their emotional needs.
At Tatlo, tucked behind the historic Old Absinthe House at the center of touristy Bourbon Street, the longtime chef offers a bit of serenity.
I always tell people that witches are women who have found their power. I want Tatlo to be a witchy restaurant that encompasses the spiritual and health benefits of the ingredients.
I felt more comfortable practicing my witchcraft, and doing it with Filipino food, creating an experience where you can order food depending on how you feel.
Cristina Quackenbush carries this magical energy into her menu, imbuing each dish and cocktail with positive affirmations, spellwork, and Filipino flavors.
