Clase Azul Tequila Blanco Ahumado: A New Icon Arrives
Briefly

Clase Azul México has unveiled its sixth tequila, Clase Azul Tequila Blanco Ahumado, highlighting the brand's commitment to quality and authenticity. This new icon combines traditional mezcal-making methods with the unique qualities of blue agave. Using an ancient pit oven, the agave is cooked without direct flame contact, enhancing its flavor profile. The fermentation process utilizes wild yeasts from Clase Azul's own fields, and the tequila is double-distilled in custom copper stills. This release continues the brand's mission to celebrate and preserve Mexico's rich heritage and craftsmanship.
"Looking to achieve a smoky profile for this tequila, I set out to capture the essence of traditional mezcal-making, reinterpreting each stage of the process to elevate the unique character of the blue agave, but this time through a deliberate act," said Viridiana Tinoco, master distiller at Clase Azul México.
"For Clase Azul México, a brand that places quality and authenticity above all else, the addition of the new icon is a significant step... Each release is designed to represent the richness of Mexico, further unlocking the country's heritage, craftsmanship and ancestral traditions."
