Brooklyn's Whisk & Whiskey Toasts 4 Years of Baked Goods, Culture And Cocktails
Briefly

Whisk and Whiskey, a bar and bakery in Brooklyn, started as dinner parties during the pandemic and has transformed into a community hub. Opened by Chef Secoyah Browne and Chandra Touch in 2021, the establishment blends Caribbean and Cambodian cuisines with a focus on Trinidadian baked goods. The owners believe their offerings of diverse spices and flavors bring cultural richness to Park Slope, which previously lacked such options. Their menu includes specialty cocktails and traditional small bites, aiming to celebrate the culinary ties between Trinidad and Cambodia.
"When we did this, it was kind of a natural progression, because my end goal was always to open a bakery," Browne told BK Reader.
"I think the community was really ready for some additional culture, some additional spice," Browne said. "Everyone's always so excited to come in and learn something."
