A Downtown LA Rooftop Bar Has Been Taken Over by the Teams Behind These New York Hotspots
Briefly

Broken Shaker in Downtown LA is set for a transformation led by Authentic Hospitality with a new Pan-Latin and Caribbean menu debuting on May 8. Jeremiah Stone and Fabian von Hauske Valtierra, known for their successful New York establishments, will introduce a revamped cocktail and food menu, highlighting dishes like shrimp ceviche and jerk chicken sandwich. A fresh mid-century modern design by Melissa Bowers will enhance the rooftop ambiance. Future plans for the group include a similar overhaul for the Chicago location in 2025.
"We're reigniting the energy of Broken Shaker LA," says Matt Charles, a co-founder and partner of Authentic Hospitality, emphasizing the renewed focus and creativity at the venue.
This signals a fresh direction for the rooftop bar, as the latest culinary and cocktail creations aim to blend Pan-Latin flair with classic flavors for a unique experience.
