The White Sox will select former first-round pick Jacob Gonzalez onto the MLB roster. ESPN’s Jeff Passan reports the move. Sox Machine’s James Fegan said Gonzalez would likely be called up if Munetaka Murakami goes on the injured list. After a postgame update, manager Will Venable said Murakami is likely to miss a couple weeks due to a right hamstring issue. The report indicates more information will follow.
